In the process of evolution and development of the era, small and micro firms growing along with our country’s reform and opening up have gone into China’s economic society. Small and micro firms play a important role in our country’s economic growth、technological progress and employment promotion. Different from the large and medium-sized enterprises, in small and micro firms,entrepreneurial leadership has become the main factors in growth and development,which determines the success or failure of small micro enterprise in the market competition. How to improve the entrepreneurial leadership and produce high performance have becoming a real problem to be solved in small and micro firms. So the purpose of this paper is to study the practical problems that exist in the enterprise converted into theoretical issues, from the perspective of entrepreneurial leadership explore the real problem of promoting entrepreneurial performance to provide evidence-based basis and quantitative reference for mall and micro firms’ management.This paper takes the business leaders of local enterprises as research subjects, based on the review of previous theoretical research results, theoretically proposes a hypothetical model with entrepreneurial leadership, organizational identification and entrepreneurial performance serve as the independent variable, dependent variable and mediator respectively. The 380 questionnaires was distributed for the business leaders in the region of Zhe Jiang, GuangDong and JiangSu 188 enterprises, by the 290 valid questionnaires collected, the hierarchical regression method was employed to verified the relations of entrepreneurial leadership,organizational identification and entrepreneurial performance. The main conclusions were showed as follows:(1) Entrepreneurial leadership in small and micro firms can significantly positive effect on entrepreneurial performance. In other words, the higher the degree that entrepreneurial leadership, the higher the entrepreneurial performance in small and micro firms. Various dimensions of entrepreneurial performance empirical analysis found that framing the challenge, absorbing uncertainty, path cleaning,building commitment and specifying limits had significant positive effects on entrepreneurial performance of the business leaders.(2) Entrepreneurial leadership in small and micro firms can significantly positive effect on organizational identification. In others words, the higher the degree that entrepreneurial leadership,the higher the level of the employees’ organizational identification.Various dimensions of entrepreneurial performance empirical analysis found that framing the challenge, absorbing uncertainty, path cleaning,building commitment and specifying limits had significant positive effects on employees’ organizational identification.(3) The organizational identification of employees can significantly positive effect on entrepreneurial performance of the business leaders.In others words, the higher the degree that organizational identification, the higher the entrepreneurial performance in small and micro firms.(4) Organizational identification had a partial mediating effect between entrepreneurial leadership and entrepreneurial performance of the business leaders in small and micro firms. In other words,entrepreneurial leadership not only had a direct positive influence on the entrepreneurial performance of the business leaders,but also had an indirect positive influence on the entrepreneurial performance by the positive impact of organizational identification. Various dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership empirical analysis found that organizational identification also had a partial mediating effect between framing the challenge, absorbing uncertainty, path cleaning,building commitment and specifying limits.These conclusions of the paper not only expanded the theoretical research of the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and entrepreneurial performance of the business leaders, but also made an attempt to explore the mediating variables between entrepreneurial leadership and entrepreneurial performance, the research result confirmed that organizational identification hadmediating effects between entrepreneurial leadership and entrepreneurial performance. These findings would provide useful enlightenments for organizational managers. entrepreneurial leadership could affect employees’ organizational psychology and behavior in small and micro firms. Organizational managers not only should implement practical strategies to improve entrepreneurial performance,but also should actively cultivate employees’ sense of organizational identification. So as to improve the entrepreneurial performance and core competitive ability,which can help small and micro firms achieve sustainable development.
