Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) is an important component of modern logistics system. It combines advanced computer control technology, field bus technology,information management technology together. And it automates the storage, goods handling and assembly line processing. Automated Storage and Retrieval System have a wide range of applications in all walks of life.The research platform of this thesis is the automatic logistics system in Subjects Experimental Center of XUST(Xi’an University of Science and Technology).According to the assembly line automatic optimization control problem in multi-task production, a new optimization algorithm is proposed which is called genetic-particle swarm algorithm of multilayer-coded.Simulation results verified the validity.Firstly, the automated Storage and Retrieval System’s hardware which is located in Subjects Experimental Center of XUST is presented and analyzed. Depth analysis of the characteristics of pipelined processing is given. According to this characteristic, pipeline optimization control model is established. Secondly, Through the analysis and compare of all kinds of algorithm for solving this kind of problem, to overcome the shortcomings of traditional genetic algorithm and to learn the advantages of particle swarm algorithm and multilayer coding mechanism, a new algorithm based on multi code, genetic and particle swarm fusion algorithm is proposed. The results with MATLAB show that the multilayer-coded genetic-particle swarm optimization algorithm has saved 9% times from the basic genetic algorithm. This algorithm can avoid falling into local optimal solution and has a faster convergence speed. It has advantages of improving utilization ratio and production efficiency in machining line.Finally, in order to monitoring the real-time inventory number of automatic logisticssystem, a module for monitoring the real-time inventories is designed based on C language and WIFI transmission. According to tests, this module implements the function of monitoring accurate inventories.
