Research On The Complementarities Of Trade Between Mongolia And China

Mongolia and China are not far from with each other. The common border line between them is 4676 km. Since establishing the bilateral diplomatic relation s, both of them have very deep communication. In recent years, the relationship and corporation among them become more and more closely. And then, the complementary trade between them is more obviously.This paper introduces the current status of the bilat eral trade relations between Mongolia and China in detail, including China’s exportation and importation trade, Mongolia’s exportation and importation trade and the trade current status between the two countries. Furthermore, in the theory, the paper analysis the trade complementary in different aspects, such as sources, industry structure, consume and way of consume. The way of analysis in this paper is empirical analysis. And then, by using a huge number of data, combining the current status between Mongolia and China, this paper calculates some indexes results, such as trade combined degrees index, revealed comparative advantage index and trade complementary index. So in this way, the author discusses the trade complementary in the way of empirical analysis.At last, base the above analysis, the paper gives some advices to promote the development of trade between China and Mongolia. They are strengthening the politic relationship and promoting the development of trade between them commonly, enlarging the trade scope positively, perfecting the trade structure, solving the problem of cross-border trade settlement, perfecting the system safeguard between them and trying to establish the FTA between both countries.
