Site Selection System Of Thermal Power Plant Based On COMGIS

The rationality of site selection is quiet important to the cost and progress of thermal power plant construction, which also determines the safety and economics of the plant's operation. The traditional method of site selection t can't meet the demand of modernization in the automation times. The problem of site selection based on the application of software combined with software platform is urgently to be figured out.Through the analysis of main content, basic principles and influencing factors of thermal power plant siting, and through the study of traditional power plant site selection method.,the paper introduced GIS into the field and site selection system was proposed to be the aided operation for the selection.This system is developed by using the component GIS technology to develop the site selection system of thermal power plant,and the auxiliary operation of the thermal power station is carried out,transferring the graph analysis into computer method.Firstly, through the analysis of basic theory of the industrial location theory,and summary the main content basic principle and influence factors of the thermal power plant siting, were summarized.Through the research of traditional power plant site selection method, the principle of selection and analysis of index by using the technology of GIS is given.Then, the paper chooses the development method of GIS system, and determines the way of developing the component based on the environment of the ArcEngine component embedded in.NET. Based on the targets and principles of system, structural design,function design and database design was conducted. Space analysis was the main function that was realized in function design, and other detailed function design was also conducted according to the chosen index.Based on the designed functions, methods of building a program frame was analyzed and methods of realizing basic functions, main functions and output functions were proposed in the development environment.Finally a case of the site selection for a thermal power plant was introduced in the paper, in which the system was built and the practicability was confirmed.GIS is introduced into the field of thermal power plant location, which can make the thermal power plant more intuitive and scientific, reducing the workload of the decision makers, increasing the efficiency of the site selection, and have some practical value.
