Evaluation And Analysis For Marine Industrial Structure And Competitiveness In Bohai Rim Region

The 21 st century is an ocean era with human exploiting marine resources from the past simple extensive gradually to the full range,fine,depth development.The marine economy has shown a good momentum of prosperity.It is playing an increasingly important role in the economic growth of the coastal countries and regions,and it has been promoted to strategic position by more and more countries and regions.Bohai rim region is an important marine economic region in China and plays a huge role in the development of China's marine economy.It is necessary to find out key factors that influence Bohai rim region marine industrial development by in-depth analysis of the Bohai rim region marine industrial structure and comprehensive evaluation of Bohai rim region marine industrial competitiveness.It is very important to further improve Bohai rim region marine industrial development system and promote marine industry healthy development cycle for economy development of Bohai rim region combined with the strategy,policy,talent and technological innovation,etc.Firstly,the article introduces the situation of domestic and international marine industry and competitiveness,and describes the related concepts and theory of the marine industry,on this basis,the marine industry development status(natural and geographical conditions,social economic,industrial development,etc)of three provinces and one municipality(Liaoning,Hebei,Shandong,Tianjin)in Bohai rim region are systematic analyzed with elucidating the strengths and weaknesses and problems appeared in the development of marine industry.Secondly,on the basis of the aforementioned,the article analyzes the marine industrial structure and competitiveness of Bohai rim region with marine industrial structure perspective by shift-share analysis from 2008 to 2013 years,and it also analyses the whole marine industry comprehensively.Then we collects relevant data from 2008 to 2013 years by Boston matrix analysis method to carry on the appraisal to Bohai rim region and three provinces and one municipality competitiveness of marine industry.According to the evaluation results,marine industry is divided into Stars,Taurus,Thin Dog,Children in four grades combined with some suggestions.Finally,the article makes some suggestions to the the development of marineindustry in Bohai rim region from several aspects including the marine statistical work,making full use of marine resources,planning the marine industry scientifically,optimizing the industrial structure,paying attention to strengthening the co-ordination of land,enhancing the talent training and the marine environment protection.
