With the development of the computer technology,space technology,image processing and display technology.Many industries have entered into the era of digital,which has infiltrated into the geological exploration,mining engineering management and design.and it is also playing a more and more important role by virtue of its great advantage.Three dimensional geological modeling and visualization is based on the integration of geological data,the geological research and traditional computer technology,through software program and data processing,achieving the 3D model of geological body to space form.In this paper,we make the three-dimensional modeling software Surpac as a tool,Shenjiazhuang iron mine in Lingshou country of Hebei province as the research object,creating its 3D geological model.We have take a comprehensive study to the geological characteristics of Shen Jia Zhuang iron mine and summarized the characteristics of geological environment of mining area.Combined with the exploration data,the 3D visualization technology is applied to the 3D geological entity modeling,and its visualization is realized.The data collection,database establishment,modeling process and main problems of 3D geological modeling are described and analyzed from the theoretical and practical point of view.This paper has the following content:(1)Aggregating the exploration data,recording the collar space coordinates,survey data,samples and laboratory data into electronic form and classification,as the basis for creating a database.Basing on the database to realize the three-dimensional display of drilling in space.(2)According to the drilling information displayed the ore body contours,corrected and modified by the profile,the triangle network will be closed out of the ore body,forming a three-dimensional solid model of ore body.(3)To construct the surface model through surface measurement,display the surface entity model,ore body model and drilling trajectory,provides a direct scientific basis for the next prospecting and spatial distribution.(4)Creating a block model of ore body,to estimate the grade and reserves of the deposit.
