Precipitation is one of the key of hydrological and meteorological observation,precipitation monitoring and prediction is of great significance to flood control and drought resistance and agricultural production.The rain gauge is an important instrument for measuring precipitation,and the accuracy of the measurement directly determines the reliability of the measured data.The traditional siphon and tipping bucket rain gauge using artificial or semi-artificial way,reduces the data real-time,reliability and accuracy.The content of this paper is design of rain collection system based on Doppler effect,the specific work of this paper are as follows:(1)The hardware circuit design of the system is divided into the circuit principle simulation optimization of the main control system and the layout design of PCB.The hardware circuit includes the microwave transmitting module,the control module,the communication module,the acquisition module and the power supply module,the principle of circuit design is to improve the stability and reliability of the system on basis of satisfying the performance requirement.(2)The design of the system software framework,the realization of the function module and the design of program algorithm.Transplanting the μC/OS-Ⅱ to improve the portability of software and real-time,and solve practical engineering problems.And then every function module is separated out and introduced its realization and designed thought,such as acquisition module,communication module,etc.(3)The overall testing of the system includes hardware testing and software testing.The hardware testing is to test the rationality of circuit design and the software testing is to test whether the functional module can run properly.Finally,the results of test data shows that the overall performance of the system basically reaches the demand of design.Among them:the rainfall measurement range is from 0~4mm/min;the measurement error is basically less than 5%.The new rainfall gauge has the advantages of small volume,convenient carrying,high precision and reliability compared with the traditional rain gauge.The new rainfall gauge avoids the uncertain factors brought by the artificial manual operation,and also reduces the work intensity of the staff,improves work efficiency.
