This paper mainly studies sewage hydrocyclones, which is used as thepre-treatment equipment of sewage source heat pump to solve the problem ofclogging of the heat exchanger in sewage source heat pump, so that sewage sourceheat pump can be a long-term reliable and stable operation, which is beneficial tobetter develop the low grade heating energy of the sewage and recycle the wasteheat of the urban sewage.This paper first proposed the idea of sewage hydrocyclone, added ejector refluxdevice under the hydrocyclones, and used the treated sewage to wash away part of alarge concentration of sewage, used this method to realise the function that used thesewage discharged from the overflow port to put the contaminant discharged fromthe underflow port, whose density is bigger than the water, away. And achieved thepurpose of continuous decontamination. Designed and fabricated a prototype ofsewage hydrocyclone, built an experimental table of sewage hydrocyclone. And thenadopted controlling variable method to study the influence of the operatingparameters ?the inlet flow and the inlet pressure? and structural parameters (thediameter of underflow pipe and the length of the overflow pipe) of sewagehydrocyclone on its separation efficiency, converted separation efficiency, splitratio?total energy loss, the average concentration of the sample of overflow portetc through four experimental study of the artificial hard water. Finally, the authorconducted a experiment for the decontamination of sewage which passing through atrunk sewers of a residential area.The experiments of the parameters of the arificial hard water ?Sedimentconcentration12.38g/L?show that:?The sewage hydrocyclones comparison withthe traditional hydrocyclones: achieve a continuous decontamination, the hydraulicconditions are more stable, the separation efficiency and the converted separationefficiency are higher. Although the energy consumption and the split ratio of thesewage hydrocyclones are slightly higher than the traditional hydrocyclones, we canreduce energy consumption through optimize the structure parameters and operatingparameters of sewage hydrocyclones.?The split ratio is inversely proportional tothe inletflow, proportional to the length of the overlet, proportional to the diameterof the underflow pipe, and has nothing to do with the inlet pressure.?The energyconsumption of the sewage hydrocyclones is usually in about two meters of water.The experiment for the decontamination of domestic sewage shows that:?The inlet flow and the diameter of the underlet pipe of the sewage hydrocyclones both have an impact on the separation efficiency of all sorts of pollutant, while theimpact of the inlet flow is the most obvious.?It can be clearly seen that thesewage hydrocyclones has a good separation on the pollutant in the domestic sewage.Just for different pollutant from different water its structure parameters andoperating parameters need specific optimization design.Thesis is part of the research of Ministry of Education, Scientific ResearchFoundation returning from abroad (46th Batch) and State Key Laboratory ofBuilding Safety and Environment2012open topic.
