Thiamethoxam is one representative varietie of the second generation neonicotinoid insecticides, it has unique biological and chemical properties as well as outstanding insecticidal activity, broad spectrum insecticide, safety for human and animals, high environmental compatibility, it can be used in control a variety of pests, but also for the stems and leaves, seed treatment. Since listing, it occupied a considerable position in the pesticide market and sales grew very rapidly, therefore, to study the synthesis process of thiamethoxam has a certain value.Based on reading a lot of literature, summarize synthesis thiamethoxam,and explored various factors during the reaction, identified a high maneuverability, suitable for industrial production process route,the synthetic route is:2,3-dichloro-1-propene and sodium thiocyanate at reflux to give 1-thiocyanate-2-chloro-2-propene, and then rearrangement at high temperature,cyclization to give intermediate 2-chloro-5-chloromethylthiazole;Nitroguanidine reaction with methylamine solution to give N-methyl-N'-nitroguanidine.and then react with paraformaldehyde to give the other intermediate 3-methyl-4-nitro-1,3,5-imino-perhydro oxadiazines; 2-chloro-5-chloromethylthiazole react with 3-methyl-4-nitro-1,3,5-imino-perhydro oxadiazines to thiamethoxam.Due to good biological activity,the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds are playing an increasingly important role in the new pesticide discovery process, is widely used pesticide chemical industry, medicine and so on.In addition, 1,8-naphthalic anhydride is also an important chemical raw material.its derivatives have a good push-pull electronic effects structure, showing excellent light stability and biological activity,and therefore this article introduced a variety of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group in the 1,8-naphthalic anhydride structure, synthesized a series of naphthalimide derivatives, the title compound purified by GC-MS, elemental analysis,1H NMR and other means and its structure was characterization, and tested the bioassay,The results showed that compounds ?-b? ?-c??-f have good insecticidal activity.
