Experts predict, manufacturing technology of this century will be intelligent technology, integration technology,distributed and parallel processing technology, network technology, human-machine-environment system and other multidisciplinary new manufacturing technology based on. It became the communication of information technology and manufacturing systems "semantic gap" between the important bridge and tools, digital and information it will design, manufacture, simulation process completely, the work so that we can be more efficient to manufacture field.Virtual manufacturing covers machinery, computer, management and other fields, it relates to the manufacturing technology, information technology, management technology, computer technology and other disciplines content. At present, the domestic research mainly focuses on the virtual machining technology, virtual simulation, virtual design and virtual manufacturing system in four aspects.Virtual manufacturing to achieve product, needs two aspects of hardware and software support. In recent years, various software widely development, involves many fields such as CAD/CAE/CAM/CAPP. Pro/E (Pro/Engineer) is a Parametric Technology Corporation Ptc (PTC) is an important product. Plays an important role in the field of 3D modeling software, is one of the most famous CAD/CAM software. Abaqus is SIMULIA company's products, is currently the world's most powerful nonlinear simulation analysis software of. From the preliminary linear analysis to the depth of nonlinear analysis, from the component level analysis of simple system level analysis of complicated, from static analysis to dynamic analysis, are available in the Abaqus analysis software platform.CNC turret is a key component of NC machining center, its performance directly affects the machining quality. The virtual manufacturing technology is applied to the CNC turret, CNC turret will improve greatly in the aspects of design, assembly, testing efficiency, and promote the development of NC machining center. But specifically for CNC turret virtual manufacturing technology research, such as transmission analysis and finite element analysis is still less.In this paper, I select the CNC turret as a research platform, using Pro/Engineer as the software tools, product virtual model, parametric design, part family table design, assembly, motion simulation and the NC machining simulation in virtual manufacturing methods of the study, reference to determine the machining cutter frame motion parameters, optimization of the key parts of the tool holder provide technical. Finally, based on the Abaqus analysis modal analysis and static to rest whole carriage structure, in order to obtain the parameter optimization of cutter structure, improve the reliability of tool design. The whole design process to achieve full digital, virtual manufacturing advantage validation method in the design process, and lay a foundation for later work.
