This article relies on the MG300/730-WD shearer rocker arm, the cutting of different height of its modal simulation analysis. With appropriate simplification and the application of vibration modal knowledge and theoretical knowledge, the shearer cutting unit mathematical model was established, and according to the mathematical model, established the vibration differential equation, then, obtained the vibration characteristic parameters of rocker arm shell, including natural frequency and vibration mode.Shearer cutting unit is mainly composed of a rocker arm and a height adjusting oil cylinder. The height adjusting oil cylinder as flexible, rocker arm as a rigid body, With the analysis of the height adjusting oil cylinder in different working condition, the vibration displacement expression of shearer ranging arm was calculated. Secondly, through the establishment of entity model into the well in the Pro/E to the ansys finite element analysis software, respectively, swap the oil in the initial position, the contraction of 100mm,100mm,200mm, elongation when 400mm condition for the extraction of modal analysis. The first 10 order modal shape, get the first 10 order modal image and fundamental frequency. By comparison of the different conditions of the modal contours and fundamental frequency, and combined with the source of influence, analysis the rocker arm in the second order, fourth order and eighth order modal, close to the system frequency and the frequency of vibration, accessibility to the resonance frequency of rocker arm shell value, cause the rocker arm structure damage.The maximum stress concentration at the modal analysis of images obtained by different conditions, mainly concentrated in the outer side and rocker arm-cylinder junction of the height adjusting oil cylinder and cylinder. And the stress maximum selection of key points, vibration displacement curve to make the frequency change, analysis of curves in the vibration wave number of the order of curves under different conditions are roughly the same, but with the increase of vibration frequency, vibration curve changes occurred in different forms. Analysis of the reasons that, due to the different length of the height adjusting oil cylinder elongation, resulting in its stiffness change, thus affecting the change of the natural frequency and therefore, order the vibration changes, which provide a theoretical basis for the prediction of vibration shape under different conditions of rocker arm.
