Transfer models of 250t ladle during empty ladle, pouring and holding stage were established in this paper, and numerical simulation was made using computer tools. Analysis on the steel ladle and the factors which do influence to the temperature drop of molten steel and its characteristics were done.First, the transfer conditions of molten steel and ladle in steelmaking and continuous casting process was analyzed, and the initial conditions and boundary conditions of ladle transfer model under different process conditions and the thermal physical parameters related were determined.Second, three-dimensional finite element model of the ladle and molten steel within was established using finite element software FLUENT, numerical simulation of temperature field of ladle and molten steel during empty ladle, holding and pouring stage was made to get the temperature distribution of ladle and molten steel. empty ladle, holding and pouring stage Class A ladle: molten steel in the steel with steel, full package and put aside the temperature drop rate of 12?/min,1.41?/min; Class B ladle: molten steel in the steel with steel, full package and put the temperature drop rate respectively is 10.1?/min,1.31?/min; Class C ladle: molten steel in the steel with steel, full package and put aside the temperature drop rate of respectively is 7.8?/min,1.12?/min; Cold steel allowance: at the bottom of the ladle bottom every increase It cold steel, will result in class A and class B ladle of ladle, temperature drop respectively class C ladle 3.6?,3.4? and 3?.
