As the basic of formulating reducing policy and the important indicator of assessing reducing effect,GHG emissions inventory has been one of the most important part of reducing work.And the research on city's GHG emissions inventory have a positive significance on GHG emissions reducing work because of the characteristics of city,such as the highly concentration of population,the sizable energy demand and the large release of GHG.Against this background,the concept provided an overview of the existing GHG emissions accounting methods,analyzed the main methodologies of drawing up GHG emissions inventory and their feasibility and put forword the problems of researches on city's GHG emissions inventory.By using the method of literature researches and case study,this paper analyzed the problems of researches on city's GHG emissions inventory in Beijing.On the basis of accounting method based on the IPCC Guidelines and Provincial Guidelines,this paper accounted the GHG emissions in Beijing from 2004 to 2014 by collecting and processing mass of data,analyzed the emissions from the aspects of gross,intensity,structure,major field and level,calculated impacting effect of influencing factors based on Kaya identity and LMDI method and predicted the GHG emissions trends in Beijing from 2015 to 2025.This study indicated that: Firstly,although the GHG emissions in Beijing from 2004 to 2014 tend to increase,GHG emissions per unit of GDP decreased with an annual rate of 7% and the per capita emissions decreased from 9.60tCO2e to 8.25tCO2e.Secondly,the proportion of indirect emissions increased from 23.84% to 37.81% and the proportion of tertiary industry emissions increased from 32.58% to 53.43%.Thirdly,the coal consumption emissions decreased 36.42 million tons CO2e and its proportion in energy emissions decreased from 43.88% to 17.62%.Fourth,the city's source structure changed a lot with the substantial growth of building energy consumption emissions and transportation energy consumption emissions and the proportion of industry energy consumption emissions decreased 25 percentage points.Fifth,the GHG emissions per unit of energy and the energy consumption per unit of GDP inhibited the growth of GHG emissions and the GDP per capita and the population stimulated the growth of GHG emissions.Sixth,the GHG emissions in Beijing will increase first and then decrease from 2015 to 2025 and the emissions peak will be reached around 2017 under BAU,LES and ELC.
