In this paper, through the combination of theoretical study, experimental determination, field measurement and numerical simulation methods to determine the spontaneous combustion danger zone of Kou Zidong coal mine. First of all, from the theoretical research, grasping the theory of coal spontaneous combustion, the seepage mechanics of goal, the risk prediction of coal spontaneous combustion and the division method of coal spontaneous combustion danger zone, combining with the current research status at home and abroad, putting forward their own research topics. Based on the experimental results of 13-1 coal spontaneous combustion characteristic parameters, we can get 13-1 coal industry group, the true relative density, determine the natural tendency of class I, know 13-1 coal seam is easy to spontaneous combustion. Through the 13-1 coal low temperature oxidation experiment, it can be known that the formation of the gas concentration has a certain rule to follow, and it is conclude that the coal spontaneous combustion in different temperature range with different gas to form a sign gas system. Studying the relationship between oxygen consumption rate and coal temperature, heat release intensity and coal temperature, calculating the shortest spontaneous combustion period of 13-1 coal seam, and the shortest spontaneous combustion period is 50 days. Studying distribution law of spontaneous combustion danger zone in goaf of working face under different division indexes by the field test and numerical simulation. In field measurement process, analyzing the different gas concentrations and temperature rise with the advance of working face, it is concluded that distribution range of spontaneous combustion danger zone in goaf of 111304 working face by the division indexes of oxygen concentration and temperature rise rate, in the numerical simulation process, simulated of different air supply volume, extraction of high pumping lane, high lane position influence the goaf air leakage flow, it is concluded that distribution range of spontaneous combustion danger zone in goaf of 111304 working face by the division index of air leakage intensity. Finally, considered the decision factors of coal spontaneous combustion, put forward a comprehensive index to determine the spontaneous combustion danger zone of working face under the condition of large mining height. In addition, the classification indexes of the top coal,the coal pillar along the empty side and spontaneous combustion danger zone in goaf is given, confirmed the spontaneous combustion danger area in 111304 working face, and carried out the dangerous area verification, implement the corresponding fire prevention technology.
