Manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of the national economy.CNC machine tools as the “Mother Ship” of manufacturing,which energy saving operation research is the need for the country to implement energy-saving emission reduction strategy,but also the important way of sustainable development of manufacturing industry.Machining center as an important part of machine tool system is widely used in aviation,aerospace,automobile manufacturing and other high precision industrial production.The performance and ownership of machine center has become the measure of a country's level of technological development and an important indicator of overall national strength,is the basis of national industrial development and support.Compared with the ordinary numerical control machine,the energy consumption characteristics of machining center is very complex and the effective energy utilization is low,so the energy saving potential of machining center is tremendous and the elevate of the whole energy efficiency of machine system is of a great importance.To improve the energy efficiency of machine tool is very essential to enhance the energy efficiency of the overall system for the machine level.Therefore,with the financial of the National Natural Science Foundation(NO.51275365)and the National High-Tech.R&D Program(No.2014AA041504)study on the energy saving of machining process of CNC machine center are carried out.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the operating characteristics and energy flow characteristics of machining center are analyzed,and the energy flow composition of machining center is defined.Based on the power balance equation of energy dissipation system,the total energy consumption model of machining center machining system is built,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of energy saving optimization process.Secondly,the cutting parameter optimization method of machining center is researched.,the machine tool property and tool life of manufacturing process are considered,a multi-objective optimization model is established,which takes the milling speed and feed engagement as the variables,the minimum cost and the energy consumption as the optimizations objectives.The Weighted sum method are introduced to transform it into a single objective optimization model and the Particle Swarm Optimization is applied to solve it which providing support for energy saving and optimization of process parameters in machining center.Thirdly,the cutting process route optimization of machining center is analyzed,the concept of the work step is proposed,and the characteristics of the processed parts are described by using the concept.Considering the existing problems and related constraints in step sequencing optimization the objective optimization model is established,which takes the minimum electricity consumption as the optimization objectives.The hybrid algorithm was proposed by the step sequencing chain intelligent generation algorithm based on constraints analysis with genetic algorithm which providing support for energy saving optimization of processing center.Finally,take the face milling process and the process of emulsion pump casing as application examples respectively,the model and method of process parameters and process route is analyzed on the TH6350 machining center which proved to be feasible and effective.
