Abstract/Summary:
With the improvement of living standards, people’s demand for energy is increasing. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is widely welcomed as chemical raw material and new fuels. LPG has its unique advantages, but the danger should not be ignored. It is very easy to be leaked because of the careless management or operation, which can cause serious accidents. LPG distribution storage serves as a receiving, storage and distribution management place for LPG, its security has gradually become a focus of attention. If the insecurity of LPG distribution storage is discovered and maintained in the initial stage, it will greatly reduce the probability of the occurrence of a disaster. So a more complete safety monitoring system to monitor is required, which can achieve the security advance warning for LPG distribution storage. But a complete safety monitoring system for LPG distribution storage has not yet been designed. Aiming at this problem, this thesis takes a LPG distribution storage as the research object, researching from three aspects:the insecurity reasons, advance warning monitoring system integration, and the safety assessment. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on understanding the process of distribution and storage in liquefied petroleum gas distribution storage, insecurity problems of liquefied petroleum gas distribution storage are summarized according to previous accidents. The causes of these problems are analyzed in detail, on the basis of which, the monitoring indexes for achieving the security advance warning are raised.(2)An intrinsically safe monitoring system for liquefied petroleum gas distribution storage is integrated, taking these indexes as the monitoring objects. The hardware architecture design and software architecture design for monitoring results are included. Laser gas sensors, fiber grating temperature sensors and Fiber Bragg grating strain sensors are the monitoring components for data collection. In addition, the GPRS wireless transmission mode is used for data transmission.(3)The system is applied to security monitoring for a liquefied petroleum gas distribution storage, on the premise of meeting reliability requirements. Due to the reasons of building progress, micro-leakage monitoring module is firstly completed, and the monitoring data of the corresponding position is extracted. Based on monitoring data, in the condition of not appearing false alarm, concentration warning level of the LPG distribution storage is set, which is used as the reference for evaluating the safety condition of the LPG distribution storage. According to the results of the evaluating, the flange of hydrocarbon pump may have the problem of leakage in the south of the LPG storage, which is needed to be checked and maintained. Other areas are in safe condition.
