Evaluation Of Eco-environment Fragility In Anning River Basin

In recent years,all kinds of environmental problems occur frequently with the development of the economy,which has seriously hindered China's economic and social sustainable development.Thus,the research of ecological environment vulnerability has become the current hot issues of human society and causes the extensive concern of many experts and scholars.This paper describes the vulnerability of the environment at home and abroad on progress,and on this basis,discusses the topics to study, the significance of research, the theory and method of the research. According to the actual situation of Anning River Basin and the existing ecological environment vulnerability assessment related theory and the study results, the ecological fragility evaluation index system is establishe.This paper analyzes the temporal variation of ecological fragility using mathematical model under the technical support of RS and GIS.Besides,it implements the assessment of ecological vulnerability.The thesis' s main findings are as follow:(1)Under the consideration of the special environmental characteristics of Anning River Basin, the system selects the following indicators as assessment indexes: elevation, slope, vegetation, land use, soil type, soil erosion, temperature, precipitation, GDP and population density. The paper assigns values to the index weight by use of projection pursuit algorithm,and on this basis,analyzing the ecological vulnerability. Finally,it determines the dominant impact factors of ecological vulnerability.(2) From the final score index, ecological vulnerability index in the study area concerntrated in the slight areas and medial areas,which accounted for 60%.It concluded that the ecological environment is in the middle level.Comparative analysis on evaluation factors show that the main factors were the impact of human activities and social economic conditions which influenced the ecological vulnerability of Anning River Basin.(3) Comprehensive 1993-2013 statistical data, the ecological vulnerability of Anning River Basin was realized the dynamic analysis by comining ArcGIS and projection pursuit algorithm.The environment in 2013 was better than in 1993,but there were still parts has the trend of degradation. The main factors included the development of hydropower resources, the development of mining industry and so on.(4)Based on the evaluation of ecological environment as well as the analysis of the driving force of environmental change, environmental conditions of Anning River Basin could be fully understood. The environmental protection policies and measures would be proposed,which could provide for the region's environmental protection and social sustainable development.
