The formation region of SrO-Sb2O3-P2O5 ternary system glass was studied systemly.The influences of composition on the structure and properties of glasses were studied by changing relative contents of SrO and Sb2O3 with P2O5.The effects of oxide addition on the structure and properties of glasses were researched through adding Bi2O3 and Al2O3.Rare earth element Eu3+ was doped in the glass and luminescence properties changes of the glasses was studied through the nucleation and crystallization processing.The structure of glasses and the phase of crystallized glass were studied by FTIR and XRD,and the microscopic morphology of glasses was observed by using scanning electron microscope.The luminous performance of glasses was determined by fluorescence spectrophotometer.The expansion coefficient and characteristic temperatures of glasses were determined by high temperature horizontal dilatometer.The thermal performance parameters of the glasses were determined by DTA.Water resistence ability of glasses was determined by water bath heating method.Results indicate that:1.SrO-Sb2O3-P2O5 system glasses formation region was throughout the ternary phase diagram.The boundary of the forming regions start from P2O5 content is 55mol% in P2O5-SrO binary system,and extending horizontally with the increase of Sb2O3.When Sb2O3 content reaches 45 mol %,glass forming regions became smaller and border shrinks to the point of P2O5 content is less than 55 mol %.2.Using SrO part instead of P2O5 in x SrO-30Sb2O3-?70-x?P2O5 system glasses,there are obvious changes on the basic properties of the glasses.When SrO content is not more than 15mol%,various properties of the glasses gradually get better,and when SrO content is 1525 mol%,glasses performances changed wrose.When SrO content is more than 25mol%,the characteristic temperatures,expansion coefficients,crystallization properties and stability are all improved.Using Sb2O3 part instead of P2O5 in 10 SrO-?20+x?Sb2O3-?70-x?P2O5 system glasses.When Sb2O3 content does not exceed 30mol%,glasses properties are improved.When Sb2O3 content more than 30mol%,the performances of the glasses became wrose.But when Sb2O3 content reaches 40mol%,glasses chemical stability is improved.3.15 SrO-30Sb2O3-55P2O5 glass is used as the basic glass.Using Bi2O3 and Al2O3 part instead of P2O5,P-O-Sb bond generates when Bi2O3 content is 2mol%.When Bi2O3 content is 2mol%,the density and expansion coefficient of the glass is sharply raised,and the crystallization ability is improved,and the characteristic temperatures are droped sharply,but chemical stability is increased.Using Al2O3 partly replacing P2O5,just as Al2O3 content increases from 0 to 1mol%,P-O-Sb bond generates and the density,characteristic temperature,and chemical stability are sharp droped,but with the increasing of Al2O3,the density of glass is decreased slow down while the characteristic temperatures and chemical stability are gradually improved.The expansion coefficient and crystallization properties are rapidly increased after adding Al2O3.But with the content of Al2O3 continue increased,the changes trend gradual.4.Eu3+ doped 25Sro-30Sb2O3-45P2O5 glasses was nucleated under 500 ? and crystallized under 600? for 2 hours.The crystalline phase Sb PO4 generated and the grain size was about 100 nm.The excitation spectra and emission spectra of glasses are enhanced obviously after nucleation and crystallization,also the luminous intensity of the glasses after nucleation is strongest.
