Water pollution is a problem which hinders sustainable development.Industrial,agricultural production and human health is influenced by groundwater pollution in Quaternary unconsolidated sediments.Groundwater pollution which including organic and inorganic pollutants are derived from agriculture,industry,mining,oil chemical industry and living garbage.Refractory organic pollutants in the natural conditions such as benzene,phenol and system can lead to cancer,malformation and gene mutations.The groundwater in the quaternary strata of Xiaozhu Village,Cang County,Hebei Province is selected as the study area because there is a chemical plant produces benzene series organic compounds mainly.We found that the amount of organic pollutants is beyond standard serious in the groundwater of factory,including nitrobenzene pollutant concentration reached 50 mg/L.Chemical method is applied to the degradation of nitrobenzene in groundwater pollutants into harmless substances in the lab.The experiment provides experimental basis to processed sewage.Photocatalyst has become a hot research topic attributed to the direct absorption of light energy,easy synthesis,no secondary pollution and low cost.MAl2O4(M=Ba,Zn,Co,Ni,Mg)nanorod materials were prepared by hydrothermal method.Silver was successfully loaded into the "rod-like","ball-like" and "block-like" nanoparticles by impregnation method which after five hours of calcination under the temperature of 750?.By comparing the degradation efficiencies of Nitrobenzene with different amounts of Ag dopant,it was shown that lwt%Ag-loaded sample had the best performance.Through the comparative study,it was indicated that the Ag/ZnAl2O4 composite material had higher photodegradation efficiency under UV-light irradiation.The microscopic structural of the catalyst preparing by chemical method were investigated by modern characterization methods.We explored the different characterization of the aluminate on the impact on the degradation rate of nitrobenzene in the groundwater of Xiaozhu Village.We find out a new type of catalyst which has obvious effect on degradation of nitrobenzene through a lot of lab study.The photodegradation efficiency of nitrobenzene reached more than 90%throuth opening the xenon lamp simulated sunlight in the black case.This is helpful to solve the problem of groundwater pollution in Xiaozhu Village.
