Since the polymer cement waterproof coating (hereinafter referred to as JS waterproof coating) since 1998 by the Ministry of construction recommended as the first batch of 13 kinds of waterproof materials, in buildings roofing, basement, kitchen and exterior walls and other structural parts of the waterproof engineering has been widely used, showing a good development trend. Its self healing characteristics are gradually being concerned by people..In accordance with the national standards of the self-healing polymer cement waterproof coating prepared in JS waterproof coating self-healing mechanism is not clear. This paper of self-healing synthetic (autism) of polymer cement waterproof coating self-healing mechanism is discussed, and through of polymer cement waterproof coating and self-healing system selection, preparation process and formulation research shows of waterproof coating of tensile strength, breaking elongation, self-healing, solidification time were investigated.By of self-healing polymer cement waterproof coating corrosion study on coagulation effect, to reactive chemicals emulsifying process, on the one hand strengthen the and components of mixing effect, on the other hand decrease cement and water in the reaction of the coating curing speed slow down so as to increase the leveling and ensure the normal construction requirements, for active chemicals in JS waterproof coating sufficient added to provide assurance.This topic through independent research activity masterbatch and application in self healing synthetic polymer cement waterproof coating to achieve self-healing performance and other performance requirements. Which can be independent production activity masterbatch and quality control, to overcome the ill posed of the market supply of the good and the bad activity masterbatch.Using microscopic techniques studied during crystal growth process of self healing of polymer cement waterproof coating, indicates that the penetration mechanism of crystallization, and through comparative study of the different types of cement, show that active masterbatch does not meet the healing of all polymer cement waterproof coating, to cope with different cement choose suitable formulation of the system application in waterproof engineering.
