Diesel hydrotreating unit is a deep processing of the refining unit. It is a reaction process of the raw diesel which is produced by the upstream production plant and hydrogen, through high temperature and high pressure,to produce cleaning diesel which comply with environmental requirements.In this paper, the design of the automatic control system of the diesel hydrotreating unit is introduced, which is based on the domestic treatment of 3,500,000 tons/year diesel hydrotreating unit.In this paper, the diesel hydrofining technology is described which contains the reaction process, the technology of distillation process, the production principle and the description of process flow.The improvement of the instrument selection in the reaction section and the design of the control room of the diesel hydrotreating unit are studied. The improvement of the reaction part of the instrument selection includes the reactor bed temperature measuring instrument, the reactor wall temperature measuring instrument, the reaction feed pump outlet pipe flow measuring instrument, the hot high pressure separator oil outlet pipe adjusting valve and the reaction section of the high pressure cut-off valve. The center control room and field cabinet room are separated in large-scale petrochemical plant The control room design of is controlled by central control room and field cabinet. The center control room is located in the center of the control room, the operation table, the cabinet room, the lighting, the air conditioning, the telecommunication, the fire, the human body engineering design and the design of the current cabinet. This paper mainly discusses the design of the central control room in the location selection, operation table, cabinet room layout, lighting, air conditioning, telecommunications, fire, human engineering design and the design considerations of the field cabinet room.The design of Distrubuted Control System and Safety Instrument System for diesel hydrotreating unit is introduced. The control system of the device is distributed control, centralized operation, centralized management, and the device control system adopts Distrubuted Control System (DCS). According to the characteristics of high reaction pressure, high temperature and high reaction temperature, the SIS system is set up independently. In this paper, the design principle, system configuration and design requirements of the distributed control system and safety instrument system are discussed, and the design principle, system configuration and design requirements of the system are discussed.
