In the chlor-alkali industry process, membrane denitration process is a membrane separation technology with selective permeability and pressure differential driven.This paper studies the application of membrane denitration process technology in the process of caustic soda, and analyzes the problems to improve. The main work is as follows:1. In caustic soda process, the sulfate brine is from salt itself and the production. It can not be removed in the system and will affect the normal production of membrane electrolyzer. To reduce the sulfate content of the entire system, through the denitration methods of analysis, this paper established the feasibility of membrane in addition to the practical application of denitration process, and put into production?2. In membrane denitration process, the problem was that the pressure of evaporator in the frozen brine unit was rising fast in the original process and flushing poorly. To solve the above problems, this paper adopted the data collection and analysis, then optimized technical reform.3. In membrane denitration process, the CIM membrane operating cycle is shorter and its costs is higher. These problems can be solved by cleaning and repairing.4. Membrane denitration device production capacity can not meet the production needs. Through the program discussions, cost comparison and feasibility analysis, this paper established and implemented a program of expansion increase production and enhance inter membrane denitration processing capacity to meet the production needs.5. In membrane denitration process, glauber's salt byproduct production and transport costs are high. To solve this problem, this paper takes the installation of belt conveyor and new collection tank to transport glauber's salt.6. When two sodium sulfate removal devices run simultaneously, forming crystals in the common line, it lead to poor equipment operation. From reforming of the pipeline shunted and equipping with the steam pipeline, the problems arising from the operation was solved and the normal operation of the equipment was ensured.
