The corrosion mechanism of offshore pressure vessel is varied, the failure consequence is serious, and the corrosion information collected in the process of risk based inspection analysis often has some problems such as data duplication, lack, inconsistency and incorrectness. The lack of localized corrosion rate knowledge base, corrosion mechanism knowledge base and test case knowledge base, makes assessment accuracy poor and integrity management foundation weak and restricts the popularization and application of RBI technology for the offshore platform. In view of the above problems, this paper studies the offshore pressure vessel risk based inspection assessment method; the corrosion mechanism recognition software is developed based on the offshore pressure vessel typical corrosion mechanism recognition method; this paper also studies the quantitative risk assessment data collection, screening and application. According to the offshore pressure vessel integrity management requirements, the paper explores and builts offshore pressure vessel risk based inspection information management system. The method was applied to an offshore oilfield light oil separator, engineering case showed that the corrosion mechanism recognition software can quickly identify damage mechanism of corrosion in accordance with the pressure vessel corrosion parts materials, container medium, operating environment and other conditions; corrosion data collected can meet the RBI risk assessment screening requirements and lay the foundation for pressure vessel integrity management data integrity; based on the corrosion mechanism identified and risk screening level, the corresponding test strategy formulated is used to guide the test, and it has important application value. The research contents of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1) Based on typical offshore pressure vessel corrosion mechanism recognition method and model, this paper develops corrosion mechanism recognition software to identify the typical corrosion damage, which provides the basis for the inspection plan formulation and RBI analysis, and also takes the targeted corrosion prevention measures to the equipment;(2) According to the demand of RBI assessment for offshore pressure vessel, this paper studies the content of corrosion data acquisition, acquisition method and processing method;(3) The RBI assessment method of offshore pressure vessel is studied, and the RBI assessment of the offshore platform pressure vessel is completed by using DNV RBI-offshore software.
