Seamless knitted fabric refers to the half-formed clothing produced on the special knitting equipment. With the constant improvement of knitting equipment, seamless knitting industry develops rapidly and the seamless product area expands unceasingly. In addition to traditional seamless underwear and other products, the application of seamless knitting technology expands to the area of garments, sportswear, medical service, etc.Seamless knitted sportswear is a kind of comprehensive clothing, which not only has the close-fitting characteristics of seamless garment, but also the function of sportswear, and the close-fitting characteristics can also produce certain pressure to the human body in order to get comfortable clothing pressure and protect the muscle tissue. Traditional sportswear can have the function of sportswear, but it can't satisfy the requirement for appropriate pressure to the human body. The purpose of this paper is to design a seamless sportswear which has the effect of comfortable clothing pressure, as well as thermal-wet comfort, and mainly to study the effects of the appropriate raw materials, the structure and density of seamless knitted sportswear on the thermal-wet comfort and static and dynamic pressure. Following investigations were carried out in this paper.(1) The ground yarn was the spandex coated yarn, and the two raw materials, nylon and Cooldry, were used as face yarn and six fabric structures including plain plating, 2+2 mesh, 3+3mesh, 1+1 false rib, 2+1 false rib, 3+1 false rib were designed. Three density were choosed: N6,0and P6. Basing on these, thirty-six samples were prepared in Santoni SM8 MP machine then the basic structure parameters were tested.(2) All samples were tested the performance of quick hydroscopic-diffusion-dry and thermal resistance and moisture resistance in the non-extended state, the air permeating, moisture permeability and thermal resistance in the extended state by improving the testing methods.Through using LLY-56 B, clothing pressure can be characterized with the testing results of the three dimensional deformation of fabrics in the dynamic and static state. By using the multi-factor variance analysis of SPSS, the effect of raw materials, structure and density on the tested indicators can be got. The bar charts were used to analyze the influence of the elongation on thetested indicators.(3)The ways of condensed mapping and functional evaluation value of Comprehensive analysis method were adopted to evaluate their comfort properties; the results show that nylon is better than Cooldry as face yarn and structure's descending order is 3+3 mesh, 2+2 mesh, 3+1false rib, 2+1 false rib, plain plating, 1+1 false rib in the performance of quick hydroscopic-diffusion-dry. In the performance of thermal resistance and moisture resistance,Cooldry is better than nylon as face yarn and the best structure is plain plating, while the worst structure is 3+1 false rib. The best pressure structure is 3+1 false rib, which strengthens with the increase of density.(4)The temperature and humidity is different in different body areas during sports for the muscles exercise. According to the differences, two kinds of seamless knitted sports wears can be designed. By testing clothing heat dissipation performance after exercise, the number 1 design has a cooling effect.
