Study on displacement and deformation caused by opencast mining is one of the important research topics in the field of geotechnical engineering. Opencast Mining displacement and deformation makes the ecological environment around the mining areas damaged, seriously affecting mine safety and the normal life of the masses. Therefore, we should master the basic rules of ground movement and deformation caused by opencast mining, accurately predict the range of the movement and deformation of rock mass, and minimize the damage caused by opencast mining surface movement and deformation. It has become an important problem of the rock mechanics.According to the practical projects, this paper respectively utilize the fundamental fuzzy model and the classical stochastic medium theory calculating slope movement and deformation under the influence of groundwater, and compare the results with the measured data. It proved that the theory of fuzzy measure model can simulate the impact of displacement and deformation of rock. In order to improve the accuracy of the calculation, the fuzzy measure theory is launched through the Gauss – Legendre three numerical quadrature formulas and then specific numerical integration formula is derived. Later some examples of specific engineering is calculated and analysed through MATLAB. On this basis, to make the theory accorded with the actual mine projects in China, the paper takes a large open-pit mine in Southern China as a example, to analysis and predict the scope of the movement and deformation of rock slope under the influence of groundwater, and to make specific analysis about the slope stability. Meanwhile, in order to verify the correctness of the model, the paper also uses classical finite element method to calculate and analysis. Then the two results are compared. Comparative analysis results show that the theoretical predictions of the two methods are consistent.Comprehensive analysis shows that the fuzzy measure model could predict the scope of rock deformation caused by slope excavation under the influence of groundwater, which means that the research methods could be applied in the similar projects.
