The stability of slope is a crucial problem in rock mechanics engineering. For opencast working, it has direct influence on production security and management of mine. It is also foundational for stability maintenance and exploitation.The article ilustrated the advance of slopes analysis, the content and procedure of slopes stability, meanwhile the general methods to analyze the slope stability and method for pertinent study inside or outside our country at present are summarized systematically in this paper. Because of the complexity and uncertainty of the crustal stress,it is difficult to adopt linear analysis to feflect the truth.In this article,we adopt Finite Element Method(FEM) and ANSYS progress to simulate a concrete some project.This article through numerical simulation results analysis the displacement field and stress field of slope, and put forward some proposals through the analysis results to the mine production.This suggestion has the instruction function to the mine safety production.
