Grinding is listed as the precision manufacturing technology, which is regarded as an important technology in the social production and processing industries. The high-speed grinding technology is with set to one of the characteristics of high machining precision, high machining efficiency, high machining quality, can provide complex and high precision parts for national defense, rail, marine, aviation and other industries. The high precision machining to improve the mechanical product accuracy, quality, reliability and life of has a pivotal position. Therefore, it has been paid extensive attention of scholars all over the world, is listed as the leading technolo gy in the advanced manufacturing disciplines.The superior performance of GCr15 bearing steel, widely used in all kinds of mechanical products. As the grinding finishing method of mechanical parts processing, its effect directly affects the performance and the reliability of products. The plane grinding method for the grinding of general GCr15 bearing steel are concentrated in low speed of grinding wheel. And GCr15 Bearing Steel in the production and processing of bearings, rings, roller and other mechanica l products widely used and mostly require the use of external grinding machine. So in view of the existing research on grinding process of GCr15 bearing steel is difficult to meet the actual demand for processing. Therefore, this paper through orthogonal experiment combined with single factor experiment method in CNC8325 CNC camshaft composite high speed grinder, of GCr15 bearing steel to carry out the high speed cylindrical grinding experiments using vitrified CBN grinding wheel.Table based on orthogonal experimental design of GCr15 bearing steel high-speed cylindrical grinding experiment and the linear speed of the grinding wheel, workpiece speed, grinding depth for three factors and the effects of different factors on grinding force, grinding temperature, the machined surface roughness of the impact of the law and the extent of the.The machined surface morphology and the processing of metamorphic layer were observed by observations show, a structure on the surface of a workpiece to sub layer of white, dark layer, substrate layer, the white layer and dark layer together to form surface metamorphic layer. And of surface degenerating layer's thickness and micro hardness measurements were carried out by orthogonal analysis the influence rules between the various factors and metamorphic layer thickness, hardness and the impact, and gives the suggestions for improving the surface quality by improving the grinding process parameters.
