Coal gasification is the core technology of coal chemical industry chain, especially represented by the entrained flow coal gasification. Firstly, Texaco gasification process simulation and optimization of steady state is considered. Based on it, the dynamic simulation of the coal gasification is founded, which is the foundation of developing the gasification technology packages. In this paper, based on Texaco coal slurry gasification, the reactions of this process are analyzed and obtained the independent reactions are 3. The mole fraction of H2?CO?CO2 is calculated and the highest of it for H2 is 60.9%, at this moment, for CO is 0. At the other point, the lowest of H2 is 31.4%, at this moment, the mole fraction of CO2 is 0.Based on the minimizing of Gibbs energy free, the steady simulation of gasification is established using the Aspen Plus software. The simulation results is fit for the actual process. Several factors which contain the concentration of coal-water slurry, the ratio of O2/coal, heats loss and carbon conversion rate is studied to influence the gasification results. The amount of water flow is accounted to the ratio of liquid/vapor. At last, the gasifier operation wire is establishment.A dynamic model derived from the steady state mentioned above is constructed. In the industrial process, a gasifier control system is established in order to analyze CWS flow rate and the concentration of CWS which effcet on key parameters of the gasification process. For coal slurry concentration step of 5%, as reducing the amount of water, the temperature is increased, but the deviation is very small, less than 0.4 oC, the time when the system reaches the steady needs about 2.5 hours. For coal slurry flow Step of 5%, the temperature changes are very obvious, variation is the first increase after decrease. It takes about half an hour to go the steady process again.
