With the development of five axis CNC technology, the post processing has become an important guarantee for the smooth realization of the product. NC programming software species gradually increased, especially oriented to complex structure and calculation amount is large, and programming more difficult parts of programming software, function more and more powerful, as a connecting bridge between CAD/CAM system and CNC machine tools of post processing technology also flourish.This paper established the kinematics equation on the basis of analysing the structure of5MC850-A five axis machining center. simulated cutter location point which are calculated by inverse kinematic equations in Matlab software, verified the correctness of the kinematics equation; Analysis of the causes of nonlinear error,according to the different tool,study the position distribution of the size and the maximum value of the nonlinear error, and the position of the maximum value of 5MC850-A five axis machining center was simulated and verified by Matlab software, put forward the control method of nonlinear error, and through the contrast control before and after the nonlinear error maximum value to verify the control method is correct. Analysis and Research on the syntax rules of the cutter location source file and NC program generated by the CATIA/CAM module, On this basis, the use of CATIA/IMSpost software to build a dedicated processor, and then use the CATIA to build the processing model and generate cutter location source file, then post processing. The virtual environment of the simulation machining process was established by the VERICUT software to simulate the actual machining process. And the NC machining program is verified.In this paper the impeller machining is studied as an example to establish the processing model, create the cutter path and the NC program is generated by the special post processor of the specific machine tool. The feasibility and correctness of the NC code generated by the special post processor is verified. All these works can provide a reference for developing the post processor of other types of five axes NC machine tool.
