With the high yield and high efficiency of modern mine construction, mine explosion-proof electric vehicles owns the advantages of almost zero emission, low noise, superior to the traditional diesel engine in terms of eco-friendly and energy saving. While the operating environment of the coal mine has a special demand on the vehicle's control strategies. In order to adapt to the underground transportation environment, the paper designs a motor control strategy suitable for mine electric vehicles, and carry out the following work:(1) Based on the characteristics of mine explosion-proof electric vehicle, the overall structure and layout of explosion-proof electric vehicle are determined, and its power system is matched. The motor and battery of the miniature electric vehicle are calculated and matched with the reasonable selection, using Cruise to model and simulate the whole vehicle.(2) AC asynchronous motor as object, study the vector control principle, according to the rotor field orientation control, observeing the flux linkage. In Matlab/Simulink, the current and voltage model of rotor flux linkage are built, the closed-loop control on current model of rotor flux linkage is confirmed through the simulation results.(3) According to the driving characteristics of the electric vehicle in coal mine, a vector control system based on closed loop feedback of flux linkage is designed. In Matlab/Simulink, the model of the vector control algorithm is built and simulated. And the waveform diagram of running motor illustrates the correctness and effectiveness of this program.(4) The experiment platform is set up and the experiment is carried out. By comparing the experimental results with the simulation results, the vector control strategy can effectively improve the torque output capacity of the motor and the response speed of the torque.
