Petrochemical wastewater with the larger quantity of emission and higher concentration of pollutants is one of the main sources of industrial wastewater in China,The wastewaters from many processing facilities in the petroleum and chemical industry contain a variety of aldehydes and ketones organic matters which cause great toxicity.The aldehyde,benzaldehyde,acetone and other aldehydes have carcinogenicity and huge harm to eyes,skin and respiratory.The wastewaters are directly discharged into the water environment which will affect the quality of the environment and the survival of plants and animals.Through the optimization of methods and conditions of wastewater samples' pretreatment as well as chromatographic and mass spectrometry conditions,liquid-liquid extraction-GC-MS method for determination of 25 aldehyde compounds in petrochemical wastewater was established.In this method,the standard curve of every substances were ranged between 0.9913 and 0.9987 in the well linear.The method's relative standard deviation(n=7)was less than 2.43%,detection limits were was ranged from 0.017 to 0.100mg/L and the recovery rate of the compounds were different between 32% and 113%.Because of low detection limits,higher sensitivity and accurtacy and recovery rates of most organic matters,the method is applicable to analysis organic compounds containing aldehydes in wastewater.Optimized the mass spectrometry based on LLE-GC/MS conditions for the establishment of a detection method for the determination of 25 aldehydes organic compounds in petrochemical wastewater by gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry.By this method,the standard curve of each group was good in the linear range.R2 ranged from 0.9904 to 1.0000,while relative standard deviation(n=7)was<3.42%,and the method detection limit ranged from 0.017 to 0.100mg/L,the recovery rate was ranged from 63% to 113%.This method had low detection limit,high sensitivity,organic matter components and high recovery rate,which was applicable to the analysis of organic compounds of aldehydes in wastewater.The samples were derivated by 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine before analysised.Thederivatization-SPE-LC method was established for determination of 17 kinds of aldehydes and ketones organic compounds simultaneously.By this method,the standard curve of each group was good in the linear range.R2 ranged from 0.9786 to 0.9999 The relative standard deviation(n=7)was <4.60%.And the method detection limits were ranged from 0.0002 to 0.022mg/L.The recovery rates of compounds ranged from 69%to 127%.This method could determine 17 aldehydes and ketones simultaneously and gain a better separation effect,higher recovery rate.So it could be used to detect various carbonyl compounds in the wastewater.
