Study On Control Standard Of Pollutant From Sulfuric Acid Industry

In recent years, the environmental management of sulfuric acid industry did not catch up its rapid growth, the control standards (emission standards) are the basis for enforcement and an important measure of environmental management. At present, integrated emission standard of water and air pollutants is carried out in sulfuric acid industry, does not have pertinence. According to this status,based on the deep research of national or foreign environmental laws and related emission standards, and a full investigation of our country sulfuric acid factory, the emission standard system of sulfuric acid industry of our country was constructed in this paperThe foreign emission standards re1ated with sulfuric acid industry was studied fully and deeply in this paper. based on the production process and pollutant treatment technology, analysis on the status of pollutant emission and environmental impact of sulfuric acid industry, the pollution factors of sulfuric acid industry was determined according to the prior consideration of toxic substances that have major impact on human health and the ecological environment, gross control pollutants of our country, and characteristics of pollutants in the industry. The water pollution factors include conventional pollutants, characteristic pollutants fluorine, arsenic and heavy metal ion; The pollution factors of air are sulfur dioxide, sulfuric acid mist and particulate. This standard system is suitable for our country environmental management requirements, promotes the sulfuric acid industry develop healthy and sustainable.In the pollution index control system, adopts the way of combination of concentration control and gross control in this paper. By using comparative analysis with foreign standards, analyzing the rate of reaching standard of sulfuric acid factories, the emission limited values were determined according to practical treatment techniques.The water and air pollutant emission limits of existing and new project are established on the principal of two time intervals. For environmentally sensitive area, the special water and air pollutant emission limits are established. The standard is scientific well-directed and operational, which is helpful to implement.From January 1, 2011, the existing project implement limit of the first time interval, the new project implement limit of the second time interval, COD, suspended solids and ammonia nitrogen will reduced by 78.8%, 65.0% and 76.6%; sulfur dioxide will reduced by 13.0%. From January 1, 2013, the existing project implement limit of the first time interval, the new project implement limit of the second time interval, COD, suspended solids and ammonia nitrogen will reduced by 84.6%, 81.6% and 86.3%; sulfur dioxide will reduced by 54.6%. The environmental benefits are remarkable after the implementation of this standard.
