Carbon Emission And Its Influencing Factors In Yangtze River Economic Belt

The massive use of fossil fuels has led to an increase in carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere,causing global climate change.In recent years,China has become the world's largest carbon emissions country,so it is significant for China to achieve the goal of reduction in carbon emission The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an area with dense population,rapid economic development and weak carrying capacity in resources and environment,crossing the East,Middle and West regions.Carbon emissions in the Yangtze River economic belt is currently accounted for nearly 40% of the proportion,whether it can be controlled directly is related to the goal of China's carbon emission reduction implementation.Therefore,this topic has practical significance.Based on the existing research,the theoretical basis of the study was constructed.From the three dimensions of space time characteristics,characteristics and industry characteristics,the characteristics of the Yangtze River Economic Belt of carbon emissions were studied,and then the influencing factors were analyzed,and the corresponding policy recommendations for carbon emission reduction were put forward.The main content of the paper consists of three parts.The first part is the construction of the basic theory,the main content is the literature review and theoretical infrastructure,the main purpose is to lay the theoretical basis for the research support.The second part is the empirical research,the main purpose is to provide the basis for policy research.Firstly,we study the characteristics of carbon emissions from the three dimensions of time,space and industry,and study the regional differences of carbon emissions by the standard method of the entropy standard.The results show that the total amount of carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Economic Zone is increasing year by year,and the total carbon emission in the downstream area is obviously higher than that in the middle and middle reaches.The second is that the proportion of industrial carbon emissions is the largest.The difference is not obvious in the whole,the difference in the region is bigger than the difference among regions.Secondly,based on the LMDI decomposition model,the paper studies the influence factors of carbon emissions in the Yangtze River economic belt.The main conclusions are: First,energy intensity to curb carbon emissions;Second,the level of economic growth and urbanization,carbon emissions increased;Third,the size of the population has a certain role in promoting carbon emissions;Fourth,the greater the volatility of industrial structure decomposition,There are positive and negative values.The third part is to study the carbon reduction strategy in the Yangtze River economic belt.Elaborates the practical experience of the main country,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasure based on the paper research.
