| The off-road wide-body dump truck always work in extremely bad environment. They equipped with a heavy transmission load mainly transport in a short distance, so the driver must turn and reverse frequently, start and shift control heavy in many times. Manual Transmission with the impact of shift makes the driving uncomfortably, and frequent shift makes the driver fatigue and distraction easily, even leading to risk. From the aspect of the clutch, there exists some property of the clutch control system itself, such as nonlinear, nonmodeling, and high frequency of clutch pedal, affecting the clutch control. With the development of AMT, the suitable condition of the transmission arises at the historic moment.Automatic clutch control is one of the difficulties of AMT control technology. The clutch control system will be affected by many factors whether starting or shift control, like the manipulation of the vehicle condition and operation state, the driver’s intention, road conditions and other factors. How to control the clutch engagement process with smooth and soft and reduce the impact is the key to the design of the AMT clutch control system.The research object in this paper was the manual transmission control system of the offroad wide-body dump truck, and developed a new electronic control system of the vehicle with the market demand-oriented. The main work is as follows:1. Analysis of the characteristics of the engine characteristics, dry diaphragm type clutch, established a mathematical model getting the linear relation between the load and the deformation of diaphragm spring.2. Through the analysis of the working principle and the problems of the original car clutch operating system, with successfully experience at home and abroad, designed and developed the electric control clutch system in the original clutch control mechanism.3. Then analyzed the bonding process of the clutch and established the mathematical model. Combined with vehicle evaluation index, analysis of the clutch engagement process and establish a set of fuzzy control strategy of AMT electronic control system suitable for the off-road wide-body dump truck.4. According to the mathematical model, the dynamic system model is established by SIMULINK and the control strategy is simulated and verified. This provides a theoretical basis of AMT for the company, and this is of a certain significance to enrich theory and algorithm of vehicle automatic electric clutch control.5. Lastly electronic control system software and hardware were developed and designed, laying a solid foundation of the whole vehicle test. |
