With the rapid development of post-press finishing technology and equipment,collating machine also gets rapidly development and provides the reliable safeguard for book binding processing as the main foundation of post-press binding processing equipment.However,because of the high speed and intelligent,people pay high attention to the collating machine's performance index.When the collating machine run with high speed,some questions such as low precision,poor stability,high noise will appear.At the same time, the fault such as pleonastic signature or missing signature bring a lot of troubles to the quality of books.In order to solve these problems, this paper takes the G460 B collator as an example, and analyzes and optimizes the key mechanism(paging mechanism and jaw mechanism). First of all, the collating machine key mechanism for three-dimensional mapping modeling. Then the kinematics analysis, dynamic analysis and vibration analysis were carried out on the pager mechanism(cam-linkage mechanism) and the pendulum mechanism(gear-cam mechanism). Based on the above analysis, the problems existing in the existing mechanism of collator are obtained, and then the optimization and improvement of the mechanism are carried out. The cam profile which can make the performance of the mechanism more stable and the optimal connecting rod diameter, pendulum thickness and Connecting rod and pendulum length value, the results of optimization and improvement are compared with MATLAB simulation curve, theoretically proved the feasibility of the optimization of the organization. Finally, SYSNOISE is used to analyze and control the key mechanism of the collator. The result shows that the sound pressure value of the improved model has been decreased, which satisfies the requirement of the mechanism function in theory.
