With the development of society,people's requirements for their own living standards are getting higher and higher.Tempered glass possesses more advantages such as higher security,better impact strength,and beautiful appearance,wins the cooking appliances industry's favor.However,tempered glass panels for gas stove prone to spontaneous break in using,and the unique environment it works in such like heat and force conditions,is an important reason for the problem.Domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of work on the spontaneous breakage of tempered glass,but research about stress and deformation of tempered glass panel for gas stove under heat and force is relatively lack.The research on the two different kinds of tempered glass for gas stove-type J and type H by experiments and simulation,is carried out,which are different sizes,structures and blasting rates,except for material.Changing some factors such as thermal load,force load,and the location of force,the law of stress and displacement of these two types of panel for gas stove were obtained.Research achievement and main works this paper has got:1.In order to compare tempered glass for gas stove-type J and type H with different blast rates,a detailed experimental scheme was designed.By means of dry burning,adding iron block(or replacing the bracket),the heat load and the force load of the faceplate are changed,and the different method of measuring the temperature compensation by the common strain gauge is adopted,the effect of strain gage temperature variation on thermal-mechanical coupling stress measurement is eliminated.2.The experimental results show that the stress and displacement of the two kinds of panels are affected by the changing point of force and the size:(1)when thermal load on glass panel is less than 6000 W/m2: the stress increases with the increase of heat load;(2)the vertical displacement is more than the horizontal displacement,the maximum displacement value increases with the increase of heat load;(3)the sensitivity of the panel with different structural forms to the force acting point and force magnitude is different.3.By means of indirect coupling method and selecting the appropriate element type,ANSYS was used to simulate the effect of different force acting points and force loads on the stress and displacement of the panel,the simulated trend of stress and displacement was in agreement with the experiment.
