Sawing Machine Modification Of GT Company Steel Pipe Finishing Line Project Progress Management Research

As the competition for seamless steel pipe becomes further intensified,GT Company has implemented a series of product upgrading by constant innovation.The main products have been upgraded from carbon steel products to high-grade alloy steel and high value-added products.The product structure upgrading requires the improvement for equipment.GT company finishing line was built in the 1980 s,the technology level of the equipment are very low,and it can not meet the demand of product structure upgrading,especially the KV6"R" sawing machine,which can only cut middle and low grade steel tube,and can not cut high alloy steel pipe products such as T91.Moreover,the equipment is of low reliability,poor stability,and low accuracy because it has been used for a long time.The aim of the sawing machine technical innovation project is to meet the manufacturing requirement by improving the machining performance.This thesis is based on this project,and it established the project schedule by project planning,project breakdown,project activities arrangement,etc.Secondly,it established the control system of the project,and implemented necessary adjustment by choosing right project control tools and project tracing,thus ensure the achievement of project goals.This research lays the foundation for the implementation of the sawing machine modification project of GT Company steel pipe finishing line,and also provides schedule management reference for other projects of finishing line and other projects of its kind.
