Silk fabric has good wearability.However,the light fastness of silk is poor,prone to photo yellowing and photo tender.At present,the methods to solve the poor photo stability of silk are mainly through finishing UV shielding agent and UV absorber.The former uses the cross-linking agent which affects the handle of the silk fabric,while the latter has no reactivity which leads to poor wet fastness.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of poor photo resistant stability of silk,four reactive photo-resistant modifiers UV-A1,UV-A2,UV-B1 and UV-B2 were synthesized in this paper.UV-A1 and UV-A2 contain aromatic primary amine groups,so we tried to use Mannich method to connect it to the silk fabric.UV-B1 and UV-B2 have triazine-based reactive groups,so they can form covalent bond directly with silk under appropriate reaction conditions.The photo-resistant modifiers were added onto silk fabric by these methods.Light fastness of the above-mentioned chemically modified silk and dyed modified silk were investigated.The main results and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.The synthesis of reactive photo-resistant modifiers UV-A1,UV-A2,UV-B1 and UV-B2:In this paper,UV-A1 containing aromatic primary amines group was prepared by nitration-reduction with UV-P as raw material.UV-A2 containing aromatic primary amines group was prepared by diazotization coupling,followed by oxidation-ring closure.UV-B1 and UV-B2 were prepared on the basis of UV-A1 and UV-A2.Water-soluble and triazine-based active groups were introduced.The structure of all these modifiers were determined by UV,IR,MS and HNMR spectra.2.The application of aromatic primary amines group containing UV-A1 and UV-A2photo-resistant modifiers to silk fabric: In this paper,UV-A1 and UV-A2 were modified to silk by the method of Mannich reaction.The photo-resistant stability of the modified silk was tested.The results showed that UV-A1 and UV-A2 were modified to silk by Mannich method,and the photo-resistant stability of silk fabric was significantly improved.The modified silk by Mannich method was dyed,to test its photo-resistant stability.The results showed that UV-A1 and UV-A2 modification of the silk could improve its light fastness.The protective performance of acid-dyeswith UV-A1 and UV-A2 were also tested,and the reason for the improvement of photo-resistant stability of the dyed silk was analyzed.The results showed that UV-A1 and UV-A2 not only enhanced the photo-resistant stability of silk but also improved the protection of the dye.3.The application of triazine group containing UV-B1 and UV-B2 photo-resistant modifiers to silk fabric: In order to get the optimum process of finishing the silk with UV-B1 and UV-B2,the orthogonal experiment was designed and the optimum process of finishing the silk with UV-B1 and UV-B2 was studied.The optimum process conditions of treatment on silk were obtained: UV-B1 processing temperature of 90 degrees,pH value of 10,time 30 min,the amount of sodium sulfate of 40 g/L;UV-B2 processing temperature of 90 degrees,pH value of 10,time 60 min,the amount of sodium sulfate of 60 g/L.The photo-resistant stability of the modified silk was tested by finished with UV-B1 and UV-B2,and the photo-resistance stability of the modified dye silk was tested by UV-B1 and UV-B2 as well as active dye in one pot.The results showed that UV-B1 and UV-B2 could improve the light fastness of silk and dyed silk.The protective performance of active-dyes with UV-B1 and UV-B2 were also tested,and the reason for the improvement of photo-resistant stability of the dyed silk was analyzed.The results showed that UV-B1 and UV-B2 not only enhanced the photo-resistant stability of silk but also improved the protection of the dye.Taken all of these data together,the four reactive photo-resistant modifiers UV-A1 and UV-A2,UV-B1 and UV-B2 synthesized in this paper can form a covalent bond with the silk reaction under appropriate conditions,thus improving the light fastness of silk.
