The Regression Analysis On Relationship Betwteen Urban Residents’ Perception Of Smog And Recreation Actibity Intention

Smog,as a,has become the ’regular’ in fall and winter seasons in eastern cities of China.Smog disaster has brought great inconvenience and damage to urban residents’ daily life and health of body.On the other hand,with the advancement of Chinese urbanization process,urban diseases have been accumulated.Recreation and leisure activity,as an effective approach to elevate the urban residents’happiness and life satisfaction,play an increasingly highlight roal in the urban sustainable development.Some researchers has carried on the researchs and discussions on the relations of smog’s influence on tourism,but the research in view of relationship between smog and recreation activities is relatively scarce.This study analyzed the relationship between smog and reaction activities in view of urban residents’perception of smog,and taked residents in the main city of Hangzhou as the specific object of this study.At the first,based on the behavior-restraint theory,the environmental stress theory and the compromise environment-behavior theory model of Bell et al.constructed the preliminary research frame of the paper.Secondly,on the basis of predecessors’ research results and this research actual situation,leisure motivation,smog risk preference,perceived smog control,somg perceprion and behavior intention have been selected and determined as the variables of this study,and the research hypotheses for the relationship between the five variables have been put forward.Then according to the the research model framwork and research hypotheses for the five variables,the study constructed research model.Thirdly,based on the previous productions about the above five variables measuring scale questionnaire,the study designed paper topic,and then sended to the citizens of Hangzhou.By the reference correlation analysis and regression analysis,the study analyzed the questionnaire data,then revised research model and hypotheses and testing.The analytic results showed that the leisure motivation,smog risk preference and perceived smog control are factors that influence the urban resedents’ smog perception,and between urban resedents’ smog perception and(defensive)recreation behavior intention,there has significant positive correlation.At the same time,smog perception in the relationship between leisure motivation,smog risk preference,perceived smog control and recreation behavior intention played a mediating role.Finally,according to the results of data analysis,the study putted forward some suggestions of decreasing urban residents’ smof perception,and pointed out the existence of limits about this study and the prospect of further research.
