With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, urban industrial structure is facing adjustment, which made the the traditional industrial enterprises in the center of the city upgrade, relocate and close down because of the environmental pollution, and the legacy site is usually called "brownfields." The long-term industrial production leads to potential environmental problems to these sites, which affects the ecology and brings risks to the health of residents of the surrounding. Residents' cognition of "Problem field" was an important prerequisite for avoiding environmental risk of brown land, but the current domestic research on the risk brownfields brings to environment doesn't draw enough attention from the public. It is still in the exploratory stage.In this context, this essay investigates and field interviews the characteristics of residents' perception of environmental risk about brownfields in Fuzhou area, and does a probes on the influence factors on the perception by using the methods of descriptive analysis and multinomial Logistic regression and puts forwards the related countermeasure. The results showed that:(1) In terms of brownfields, affected by life experiences, most of Fuzhou residents' perception of brownfields at a medium level. (2) On brownfields environmental risk, most of Fuzhou urban residents'general concern brownfields environmental risk and have a higher perception level, however, some residents worried about it. (3) Fuzhou urban residents' perception to brownfields are significantly affected by brownfields expertise level of understanding, risk experience, access to information, education, occupation and other health risk perception. (4) The residents avoid the environmental risks of brownfields through two ways, First, for their own actions:through media exposure, safeguard the legitimate interests through legal channels; second, for the government:should set up specialized agencies responsible for contaminated land regulation, land pollution control, reducing its harm to assess pollution of land and public real-time information. This study not only enriches the theory of risk perception, and has certain guiding significance for the various stakeholders in our country recognize and avoid environmental risks.
