With the development of the society,various products circulation in our life more and more frequent,the honeycomb cardboard plays an important role in the process of transportation.Honeycomb cardboard is a kind of novel structure,light weight and low price,bearing and buffer performance of green packaging material.In the process of manufacture,storage,and use due to the intrinsic to the hygroscopicity of paper packaging materials,humidity is sensitive to the environment,are influenced by environmental factors.In most of the south China annual average relative humidity from 70% RH to 80% RH,sometimes up to 90% RH.So the honeycomb cardboard moisture proof performance has great significance.The experimental results show that mechanical performance of the cardboard is the best under the 40%-50 % RH environmental relative humidity.The impact of traditional moisture proof method on cardboard humidity one-way adjustment is difficult to make the cardboard always maintain good.This paper mainly introduced preparing a composite honeycomb cardboard with humidity controlling by in situ foaming microwave foaming method,which took sodium acrylate-acrylic acid/acrylamide copolymer as humidity controlling material,konjac glucan-mannan chitosan(KGM)as the humidity guide material and film-former material.First of all,humidity controlling material was prepared and studied by foaming ratio,morphology and function.According to the SEM figure and the infrared spectrogram of humidity controlling material,the damping mechanism and the foaming mechanism were studied.Then,the influence factors of humidity regulation performance and foaming ratio were researched.Influence factors of the humidity regulation material foaming ratio,damping performance and buffer performance: microwave foaming power,the quality of(acrylic acid+ acrylic acid sodium)and acrylamide,humidity content of humidity regulation material.Finally,the composite honeycomb cardboard with the function of humidity controlling was prepared,Simulating the high humidity,low humidity and suitable humidity,the static mechanical performance of composite honeycomb cardboard were studied,which validating humidity regulating function of composite honeycomb cardboard.The main research results include:(1)The best foaming ratio is 6.5 times,which bubble is uniform and close,realize physical adsorption of water,enhance humidity absorption/desorption of the role of the humidity controlling material.(2)With the increase of microwave power,foaming ratio is larger.Bubble hole is larger,can realize the physical adsorption of water,the amount of moisture absorption/desorption rate is higher,damping performance is better.With the decrease of the quality of(acrylic acid+ acrylic acid sodium)and acrylamide,the greater the foaming,the amount of moisture absorption/desorption rateis lower,damping performance is worse.With the increase of water content,foaming ratio is larger.Bubble hole is larger,can realize the physical adsorption of water,the amount of moisture absorption/desorption rate is higher,damping performance is better.(3)The composite honeycomb cardboard with the function of humidity controlling was prepared and studied on the cushioning properties and damping performance.Composite honeycomb cardboard can adjust internal environment humidity actively,environment humidity inside can be keep at 50%±5% RH,effectively improve the cardboard storage and transportation,solve the damp and too dry problem.Under three kinds of humidity,the cushioning property of composite honeycomb cardboard is superior to traditional honeycomb cardboard,the composite honeycomb cardboard can not only adjust the humidity,its performance are improved.50% RH humidity of traditional honeycomb cardboard and the damping function of various properties of composite honeycomb paperboard is better than 30% RH and 80% RH humidity under various performance.The composite honeycomb board with the function of damping can not only overcome affection by humidity defection,also significantly reduce the initial peak stress,stress and energy absorption ability,greatly improving the platform.The composite honeycomb has more application prospects.
