Coal is the pillar of our country's traditional economic model, it has a significant proportion in the traditional economic situation and in people's daily life. But in recent years, with the gradual increase in the amount of coal mining, more and more accidents caused by unreasonable exploitation of coal is also growing rapidly, this business model brings great hidden dangers to people's personal safety. Since ancient times, China is a big country of coal, the safety of the coal industry in terms of more prominent for our country. Compared with other countries, China's coal development is not comprehensive, and the mining technology is relatively backward.This paper takes the Yongcheng Coal Mine in Shangqiu city of Henan province as an example, and conducted data analysis to study the security issues in Yongcheng Coal Mine. The main work has three points:(1) presenting detailed introduction of safety monitoring technology in China's coal industry and pointing out main problems.(2) constructing basic security model of coal industry combined with China's coal safe structure, which directed at the shortcoming of current coal safety system.(3) designing and implementing a security monitoring system based on the security model. However, the security model designed in the paper serves as a simple generalization of China's security model. All the application measures still have to be taken into account in the actual application to construct a near-perfect security system, which requires a combination of equipment parameters in China's coal industry. Finally, employees' production efficiency can be realized according to the design of specific work of staff.There are two innovations in this paper:(1) using the Internet of things technology, according to the specific environment of underground mine to design, to the greatest extent to meet the needs of enterprise mining.(2) the choice of the function of the staff position, effectively overcome the problem of monitoring of a single, inaccurate positioning. The system has been used in Shangqiu Yongcheng Coal Mine of Henan Province, and it is considered that the system can reduce the probability of the occurrence of coal accidents, which is basically in accordance with the design requirements.
