| Semiotics is a newly emerging discipline in twentieth Century,with the development of linguistics and structuralism has a close relationship with the formation of architectural semiotics in the sixty's since the formation of architectural semiotics effectively solve the "meaning crisis",and become the cornerstone of the post modernist.Along with the development of the theory of semiotics,the study of semiotics has been widely used in various disciplines,and it is also a hot topic in the field of art research in recent years.In terms of Chinese style furniture,as the international exchange of culture and local culture and the impact of consumer good education background and increasingly personal values,expectations of furniture more and more high,form follows function design principle can not meet the needs of users,it's for development with the national culture characteristics of furniture design put forward new requirements.Modern Chinese style furniture is different from the ancient furniture,it is on the basis of the traditional innovation,design on the pursuit of the unity of function and connotation of harmonious form.Based on the above understanding,the paper from the perspective of semiotics,concise,systematically introduces the concept and theory system of semiotics,and carries on the analysis about the present situation of modern Chinese style furniture design,this paper discusses the Chinese style furniture development history,characteristics,artistic paradigm.According to the theory of semiotics,respectively from the level of semantics and pragmatics,analyzes the characteristics of the symbols of modern Chinese style furniture,furniture and probes into the pragmatic dynamic relationships,influencing factors and research methods.On the basis of the design of modern Chinese style furniture,the first set of furniture using context,second theme generated according to the context semantic repository,finally extract semantics for the creation of the furniture design. |
