With the rapid development of modern industry, people demand higher performance forging hydraulic machine which not only has higher forging speed and good control precision, but also has smaller energy consumption and higher energy utilization rate. This paper dose researches on the hydraulic servo system, control system and the energy distribution in the working process of 16 MN fast forging hydraulic press by doing development and design of the press.First of all, the overall structure of the 16 MN fast forging hydraulic unit is studied, and the composition, control characteristics and operating characteristics of the unit are analyzed in detail. On this basis, according to the main technical parameters and control requirements, design the hydraulic servo system, and analyses its working principle.Secondly, according to the characteristics and control requirements of the rapid forging hydraulic unit, the field bus control system based on PROFIBUS-DP is constructed by using the technology of PLC and fieldbus. The control strategy of the unit is studied, then uses STEP7 developing control soft and uses Win CC developing monitoring software.Finally, Aiming at the problem of high energy consumption and low energy utilization rate of fast forging hydraulic pressure, this paper studies on the energy distribution of the normal production condition. This paper uses AMESim to build the simulation model, then does simulation research on energy utilization of the fast forging hydraulic machine in a working cycle for getting energy consumption distribution. The simulation shows that: in normal production condition of fast forging hydraulic press, the load energy consumption in the whole energy consumption accounted for the ratio is less than 10%, overflow and save energy consumption causes great energy loss in the system, improving the design of the hydraulic system or hydraulic system of valve opening rules can improve energy efficiency of the compressor.
