Silicone rubber have been widely used in a number of industries, with good mechanical, heat resistant, erodes resistant properties and so on.In order to meet the demand of applications at high temperatures, this paper aimed at developing a kind of new High Temperature Vulcanized(HTV)silicone rubber, which can work in circumstances of 360 ? or even above to satisfy the special condition, and in the experiment we discussed various factors that could influence heat resistance. The paper analyzed the influences of the foundation silicone rubber, various heat stabilizers, different proportions of stabilizer and other additives.By means of Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Scanning electron microscope(SEM),we carried on a comparison of the effects of various formulas between methyl-vinyl silicone rubber and methyl-phenyl-vinyl silicone rubber. It is suggested that the redox reaction prohibits the thermo-oxidation and increases the thermo-oxidative stability of silicone rubber, then protects the silicone rabber from thermal oxidation at high temperature. The result indicated that the heat stabilizers of composite metals oxide, nitride, oxide can improve the heat resistance, and the effect of composite metals oxide with nitride is the best among them, the varies of proportion have a significant influence on the heat resistance, silica and vulcanized agent also have an impact on it.And when the content of silica is 40-45phr,vulcanized agent is 0.6-0.75phr,the properties reached the maximum values. At last, regulating the proportion of other additives, considering the feasible machining conditions, the best comprehensive formula was defined successfully.
