With the rapid development of the national economy,the complex curves and curved surfaces are widely used in many fields such as aerospace,marine,energy,transportation,mould,tools and so on.At present,NC milling processing is the main form of complex curves and surfaces machining,but the process limitations of some special parts,and the disadvantage of NC milling intermittent cutting of low efficiency is particularly prominent,such as the barrel rifling hole groove milling processing,NC milling is incapable.Another example of the processing of large turbine blades and large straight bevel gear,the large size of machine,low processing efficiency of the shortcomings highlighted.In comparison,the advantages of continuous cutting,high efficiency,small size of the machine tool are obvious in the planning machine.At present,the straight main movement machine tools are generally driven by the hydraulic sliding pillow to complete the processing.This type of machine tool main movement has no precise position control.If the system can measure the displacement of the pillow in time and control the other or more servo axes according to the displacement quantity,it can solve the problem of high efficiency machining of complex curves and surfaces.Therefore,this paper has practical significance and engineering value for the development of the multi axis NC system based on the hydraulic driven main movement.To achieve the above goals,according to the hydraulic motion position cannot be controlled accurately,we propose a method of integration of measurement and control,its working principle is given;by analysis and comparison of the existing system of CNC system,software NC is selected for the development multi axis NC system of hydraulic drive main movement.Hardware and software are designed;the hydraulic planer is selected as the application object of the system,hardware platform is designed based on TwinCAT CNC system;planning and development of software is realized based on TwinCAT.Several key problems in the development of numerical control system are described in detail,and the HMI design is carried out by using VB6.0 and TwinCAT mixed programming.Finally,the feasibility and generality of the system are verified by two examples.The multi axis CNC system developed in this paper will provide technical support for the machining of spiral groove,large surface,large vertical bevel gears and similar products.
