Welding gas causes the workers health damage and environmental pollution,it gets more and more attention.In the field of welding gas purification,water bath method for dust-removal about welding flue gas technology is very important,it has the advantage of high efficiency,none material and low energy consumption.In the process of water bath purification,welding flue gas and water form gas-liquid two-Phase flow.This paper designs a reasonable crushing device of flue gas bubble according to the transient gas volume distribution in the water,the big bubble containing dust particles is crushed one by one,it consumes the kinetic energy of the flue gas,increases contact area and time of both the particles of dust and water to maximize the efficiency of the dust particles being captured by the water with spray device.First of all,compared with the existing limitations of flue gas purification method applied to welding flue gas dust-removal,it proves the feasibility of the water bath dust-removal method and analyzes working principle and structure of the water bath system.Secondly,studying the basic theory of single-phase flow,applying control equation of single-phase flow to gas-liquid two-phase flow,the gas-liquid two-phase equation establishes the water bath purification flow characteristics,lies the foundation of fem analysis to water bath purification;Using the ICEM software to two-dimensional grid and importing the divided grid file to FLUENT software,taking VOF model to do transient gas volume distribution analysis;Results show that the water bath purification design,which adopts the process of two-layer bubble crushing device and spray dust-removal,can significantly improve the area and the contact time of the gas-liquid interface.The lower flue gas entrance speed and the higher the liquid pool level,the greater the gas-liquid interface area and the contact time.Again,the mechanism of welding flue gas is studied,the turbulence model of welding flue gas is analyzed,and the diffusion of welding gas is simulated using the DPM model.According to the water purification and gas diffusion simulation,a new type of water purification system is designed to provide the theory support and experimental verification using the experimental device for gas shielded welding and manual arc welding of water bath purification system.Finally,flue gas measuring instrument is used to study the purification efficiency.The dust-removal effect of the bubble crushing device and spray dust-removal equipment is compared with the effect that do not have in the process of welding flue gas water bath purification process;Based on single factor analysis,the efficiency of different flue gas entrance speed and the liquid pool level is studied.Results show that dust-removal efficiency which contains bubble crushing and spray dust-removal device is high,the lower flue gas entrance rate and the higher liquid pool level,the higher dust-removal efficiency.
