The PDC bit has been widely used in petroleum drilling industry,compared with the cone bit,the PDC bit has higher penetration and high rate of penetration in soft to medium hard formation,but in very hard formation,the PDC bit is also difficult to replace the cone bit completely.Buried hill formation belongs to the typical hard formation in liaohe oil region,it mainly divides into proterozoic archean erathem buried hills and buried hill two categories,the geological lithology is given priority to with mixed granite,dolomite and diabase,lithology is hard,high content of quartz,grinding and impact are very high,the PDC bit compact damage is very large.This article analyzed the lithologic characteristics of buried hill formation,liaohe oil region and the extremely hard formation cause of PDC bit compact premature damage was analyzed,and using the method of 3D design of the PDC bit,the bottom hole stress finite element analysis,the key parameters optimization design,working condition of downhole drilling simulation analysis technology such as come to the conclusion that the most suitable for buried hill formation of liaohe oil region is 152.4 mmPDC bit 5 blade 16 mm compact,middle dip Angle,structure characteristic of double row of teeth.Through applying this type of PDC in buried hill of liaohe oil region,it has a better effect,and it solves the problem of the bit scrap that caused collapse in very hard formation in some well in buried hill in liaohe oil region horizon,it realizes the feasibility of extremely drilling PDC bit in hard formation.
