Continuous casting means continuous steel casting.In the field of iron and steel manufacturing,continuous casting is a complete set of production processes that process molten steel into billets,Due to the complex production environment of the plant,the onthe-spot study and practice of metallurgical students and new employees of the plant are limited,Therefore,schools and enterprises continue to explore the simulation and teaching methods of metallurgical continuous casting process.The application of virtual reality technology in continuous casting training,through the construction of three-dimensional simulation system,can give trainees a kind of training close to the understanding of continuous casting site and control operation,and provide new ideas for continuous casting simulation training.The main research work is as follows: Firstly,in order to enhance the immersion of visual simulation,the method of building virtual 3D environment based on 3D modeling software(3ds Max)and virtual reality engine(unity3d)for metallurgical continuous casting workshop is studied,and the way of virtual human model and virtual camera management tool(cinemachine)to roam virtual scene and control visual angle is designed;then,in the continuous casting production,In order to realize 3D virtual cutting of slab model,based on the analysis of the cutting method of three-dimensional model based on surface rendering,a sub model reconstruction method is proposed for the three-dimensional simulation of the production process of cut to size.Based on the collision point between the sub model formed by the discretization of the billet model and the cutting flame,the virtual cutting and grid reconstruction of the billet sub model grid are carried out.The experimental results show that the algorithm can simulate the cutting of the three-dimensional model of the slab truly and effectively,at the same time,with the help of the external control system,it can reappear the real operating experience of the production process of the fixed length cutting.Finally,In order to increase the expansibility of the system,the method of building a distributed network system with unity3 d as the client is studied.The data storage function of the system is improved by mapping My SQL database on the server side with NHibernate tool,so that the system has the ability of information collection and sorting.Figure 46;Table 8;Reference 51...
