As a kind of high quality activated carbon adsorbent.which are widely used in pharmaceutical,food processing,medicine manufacturing and environment protection in various fields such as removing impurity,decoloring,deodorization.The unique structure of hazelnut shell has become a good raw material for the production of activated carbon.In this experiment,the activated carbon was prepared from hazelnut shell of shell waste as raw material and activated by phosphoric acid impregnation.The effects of phosphoric acid mass fraction,activation temperature,activation time and ratio of liquid to solid on the adsorption of activated carbon were investigated,On the basis of single factor.using of the preparation of activated carbon mass fraction,the phosphoric acid process response surface method,activation temperature,activation time,solid-liquid ratio factors were optimized.The results show that the optimum conditions are as follows:phosphoric acid concentration of 48.5%,activation temperature of 494?,activation time of 117min and solid-to-liquid ratio 1:2,under these conditions,the iodine value of activated carbon was 1029 mg.g-1.The surface characteristics of activated carbon were examined by scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and BET specific surface area analyzer etc.The specific surface area of active carbon was 1364.00 m2.g-1.and the average pore size was 3.17 nm,and the total pore volume was 1.08 cm3.g-1.Activated carbon of hazelnut shell has good adsorption effect,can be used as a kind of environmental friendly low-cost adsorbent.A study on hazelnut shell activated carbon was applied to the waste edible oil decoloring.By single factor test and orthogonal test,the amount of activated carbon is 10%,decoloring time for 60 min,decoloring temperature was 60 ?,stirring speed is 250 rpm,hazelnut shell activated carbon decolorization rate is 69.2%for waste edible oil,under the condition of the decolorization effect is best,as a solid adsorbent,that activated carbon for waste edible oil decoloring have certain effect.A study on hazelnut shell activated carbon adsorption of heavy metal ions Cr(VI)in water capacity,The results showed that the dosage of hazelnut shell activated carbon is 0.4 g,pH value is 2,contact time is 4 h,the solution to the initial concentration is 50mg.L-1,removal efficiency of Cr(VI)is best,Decolorization rate reached 98%.At the same time,Using the dynamic model and the isothermal adsorption model of hazelnut shell activated carbon adsorption Cr(VI)in water fitting of experimental data analysis,The results showed that the secondary dynamics equation has high fitting degree,hazelnut shell activated carbon adsorption of Cr(VI)in water process conforms to the level two dynamic model.The fitting results show that the Langumir isothermal adsorption equation has high fitting degree,the adsorption model can well describe the adsorption process.In conclusion,a preliminary judgment,hazelnut shell activated carbon adsorption of Cr(VI)belongs to the monolayer aasorpnon.
